Burning Springs
(2014)
A young woman returns to her rural West Virginia hometown, where fracking operations have transformed the landscape and community, to find her family and neighbours bitterly divided over the economic and environmental consequences of the natural gas industry. As she reconnects with those she left behind, she grapples with the tension between financial desperation and the destruction of the land and water that define the region's identity.
