A woman is abducted and imprisoned in a high-tech smart home controlled by an advanced artificial intelligence called Tau, which serves its reclusive and obsessive inventor. Desperate to escape, she attempts to manipulate and befriend the AI, gradually awakening its curiosity about the world beyond its programming. As she teaches Tau about human experience and emotion, she works to exploit the growing bond between them as a means of breaking free from captivity.
