Slow Horses
(2022)
A group of disgraced British intelligence officers, exiled to a dead-end administrative unit known as Slough House under the cantankerous Jackson Lamb, find themselves drawn into a genuine crisis when a young man is kidnapped and threatened with on-line execution. As the case unfolds, the agents uncover connections reaching deep into the upper echelons of MI5 and the murky world of far-right extremism. Their efforts to redeem themselves professionally place them in serious danger, forcing Lamb's misfit team to operate well beyond the boundaries of their official remit.
