A young Israeli traveller, Yossi Ghinsberg, joins a small group venturing deep into the Bolivian Amazon in search of an undiscovered indigenous tribe, guided by a mysterious Austrian who claims to know the region. The expedition rapidly descends into disaster as the group fractures and Yossi finds himself alone, stranded in the unforgiving rainforest for weeks. Based on a true story, the film follows his desperate struggle to survive starvation, injury, hallucinations, and the merciless jungle environment until a remarkable rescue can be mounted.
