America's War on Drugs
(2017)
A documentary series examining the decades-long American drug war through the lens of covert government involvement, exploring how the CIA and other agencies allegedly became entangled with drug traffickers during Cold War operations. The series traces how policies ostensibly designed to combat narcotics instead helped fuel the very trade they claimed to oppose, with consequences rippling through communities across the United States. Interviews with former operatives, journalists, and analysts piece together a shadowy history connecting political agendas, organised crime, and the proliferation of drugs from the 1960s onwards.
