The Split
(2018)
A Manchester family law solicitor, Hannah Stern, navigates the professional and emotional complexities of handling high-profile divorces whilst simultaneously confronting the unexpected reappearance of her own father, who abandoned the family three decades earlier. Her personal and professional lives become increasingly entangled as she juggles her marriage, her siblings' turbulent relationships, and the secrets surrounding her father's return. The series explores themes of separation, loyalty, and the lasting damage that family ruptures inflict across generations.
