A Dutch documentary that examines the deeply contentious and legally complex question of what constitutes rape, exploring cases in which victims struggle to have their experiences recognised by the justice system. The film follows individuals whose accounts of sexual assault were dismissed or went unprosecuted, whilst also giving voice to legal experts and advocates debating where the boundaries of consent lie under Dutch law. Through these personal testimonies, the documentary highlights the gap between survivors' lived experiences and the narrow legal definitions applied in court.
