You Won't Be Alone
(2022)
A young girl in 19th-century Macedonia is taken by a witch and transformed into a shape-shifting creature, absorbing the lives and bodies of the people she kills. Moving between different human forms, she experiences existence through the perspectives of villagers, gradually developing a curiosity about what it means to be human. The film is a meditative, folklore-rooted exploration of identity, embodiment, and the pain of being an outsider.
