A grieving American author, having lost his wife and child in a fire, travels to Barcelona to visit his ailing father and estranged brother, a pastor. Strange visions and supernatural occurrences intensify as 11 November approaches, and he becomes convinced that demonic entities are using the repeated appearance of the number eleven as a portent of something catastrophic. As the date arrives, a shocking revelation about his family's true nature and purpose is unveiled.
