Le Nouveau Jouet
Directed by James Huth (2021)
A wealthy and spoilt young boy receives an unusual gift for his birthday: a real, living adult man, whom he treats as his personal plaything. The man, initially humiliated and powerless within the family's vast fortune, gradually begins to assert his dignity and forms an unexpected bond with the child. The story explores themes of class inequality, human worth, and the corrupting influence of extreme wealth, as both characters are changed by their peculiar relationship.
