A Swedish miniseries dramatising the controversial theory that Stig Engström, a graphic designer who worked near the scene, was responsible for the 1986 assassination of Prime Minister Olof Palme. The series follows both the original police investigation, which famously went unsolved for decades, and the parallel story of Engström's life and psychology as a suspect. It blends reconstructed events with a portrait of how an ordinary, unremarkable man may have committed one of Scandinavia's most notorious crimes and evaded justice until his death.
