A mild-mannered American woman travels to Italy after unexpectedly inheriting her grandfather's powerful crime syndicate, only to find herself thrust into the brutal world of organised crime. With the help of her grandfather's loyal consigliere, she must navigate bloody feuds, rival families, and assassination attempts whilst discovering a surprisingly ruthless streak within herself. The fish-out-of-water comedy follows her transformation from suburban nobody to unlikely mafia boss.
