Recurring figures include the hapless Falconhoof, who hosts an agonisingly slow telephone adventure game, and Jacqueline, a socially awkward young woman navigating everyday encounters. The humour ranges from dark and deadpan to wildly bizarre, often undercutting mundane scenarios with sudden strangeness or bleak irony.
