A Palestinian-American man named Mo Najjar navigates the chaos of his undocumented status in Texas whilst simultaneously attempting to support his family, pursue asylum through a seemingly endless legal process, and hold together a romantic relationship. Drawing heavily on the real experiences of comedian Mo Amer, the series blends sharp humour with an unflinching look at the struggles faced by refugees and immigrants caught in bureaucratic limbo. Mo's daily hustle to make ends meet leads him into increasingly complicated situations as he wrestles with questions of identity, belonging, and what it truly means to call a place home.
