A French teenage girl navigates the complications of first love, friendship, and growing up whilst her recently divorced mother struggles with her own romantic life. When the girl's boyfriend cheats on her, she finds herself drawn to her best friend, and the two generations of women find their relationships mirroring one another in unexpected ways.
