About Me
my name is Marcin Zarzeczny. I am Polish actor and I am happy to announce that a film I was casted as a lead will be screening at Glasgow Film Festival as its Scotish Premiere! SUPERNOVA directed by Bartosz Kruhlik.
One of scenes of a film:
My demo reel:
In a nutshell,
I m known mostly for being a jobless actor in my country. A few years ago, when I was overwhelmed by problems of finding a job, I wrote, directed and act the solo act “Jobless actor confessions”. And then I became unemployed actor in Poland who is well known. There were published many articles about solo act, me and the story for instance in Newsweek.
Finally, I had a premiere of SUPERNOVA feature film where I was one of the leads, a few months ago. My enormous contribution to find a job in the industry and the movie premiere led me to new roles in series’s tv for Canal+ Poland and HBO Europe. And now, that’s the time to make a next wish come true - international cooperation.
SUPERNOVA
It is a peaceful Sunday morning in a quiet Polish village. A woman has made her decision to leave her drunken husband. She has two small children and some possessions. In a few brief moments, a horrible accident will entwine the destiny of this broken family with a politician and a local policeman. Bartosz Kruhlik’s gripping debut feature is impressive in the sharp focus of the storytelling and the precise execution. He draws us into horrific events, exploring tragedy, fate and how quickly people rush to judge on the basis of limited information and personal prejudice.
