Judi Beecher is a five-time Best Actress award winner, filmmaker, producer, and singer-songwriter

A theatrically trained New York actress, Judi began her professional career in the United States appearing in Woody Allen’s Coop Italia commercial campaign.

A five-time Best Actress winner, Judi most recently received Best Actress for her performance in Simultané at the 2026 Montpellier International Film Festival, and Goldendoor Film Festival, NJ. She also won Best Actress for her comedic performance in Only in Paris at the New York International Film Festival and received Best Acting Duo at the 2023 Australia International Film Festival for her starring role as Raquel, a Hasidic rabbi’s wife, in Forbidden Tango, also released as Tango Shalom.

Her film credits include Olivier Megaton’s Taken 3, Frank Oz’s The Stepford Wives, Michael Bay’s Armageddon, Maintenance Required for Amazon Prime Video, In Cannes, and La Ch’tite Famille (Family Is Family), directed by Dany Boon. On television, she was a series regular in France Télévisions’ period drama La Garçonne, playing an avant-garde, Marlene Dietrich-inspired American expatriate. She has also held recurring roles on The Bold and the Beautiful and As the World Turns and guest-starred on Law & Order, The Shield, and Once and Again.

Judi has performed in more than eleven original Off-Broadway productions and numerous independent films and national commercials. Her voice and performance-capture work includes Madison Paige, the celebrated lead character in Sony’s iconic video game Heavy Rain. She also voiced eleven characters in the animated feature Humphrey and performed multiple recurring roles in the animated television series Digimon.

Judi studied with many of the industry’s most respected teachers, including Uta Hagen, Bill Hickey, Bobby Lewis, Elaine Stritch, and Stella Adler. She completed Kathryn Gately’s two-year Meisner program in New York and continued her training in Los Angeles with Larry Moss and Gordon Hunt.

A dual American-German citizen fluent in English, French, and Italian, with conversational Spanish, Judi works internationally between New York, Los Angeles, and Paris.
