About Me

Karolin began her professional acting career in VAT Theatre by playing different roles in two lineups in Giovanni Boccaccio’s “Decameron”. Since graduation from theatre school in 2019, she has participated in five productions including Shakespeare’s “Romeo and Juliet” and in the play of August Kitzberg, an Estonian national writer called \"God of Kauka\", which was nominated at the 2020 Estonian Theater Awards in four categories.
Karolin has roles in Estonian short films, feature film and television series, and first gained recognition on screen for her role as influencer Alexandra in the feature film “Salmonid 25 years later”.
She has been an exchange student in Danish National School of Performing Arts in 2017 and took intensive class of Michael Chekhov training in Istanbul in 2018. Working abroad made her realize how exciting it is that even if we as people do not speak the same language and come from different cultural backgrounds, still we can find common language and trust during the act of play.
Her mother tongue in Estonian and she also speaks fluent English and has studied Russian and German. During her studies as an actress Karolin learned stage combat, acrobatics, commedia dell’arte and clowning.
She started dancing at a very young age. At first Karolin learned folk dance and line dance. After that she was in Fashion and Dance School FACE for six years, where she was mainly exposed to show dance, hip-hop and contemporary dance. Today she enjoys any type of movement and tries to implement it in her work as an actress.
