About Me
Petros Goutis was born and raised in Florina, Greece. He graduated from Iasmos Drama School (2013).
He is a professional actor since 2011, starring in stage productions , films, television series and commercials. Earning leading roles in theatre from the beginning in M.Mcdonaugh's "Lonesome West" (Colman, dir. Vladimiros Kiriakidis) and R.DeWet’s "Missing" (Constable dir. Manos Papagiannis). In contemporary Greek plays as G.Iliopoulos's "To Know Us Better" (Peter, dir. George Iliopoulos) and G.Tsatsomirou’s "An Interminable Circle" (Boy, dir. Georgia Tsatsomirou) he also had the main roles. He portrayed a major role in C.Dickens’s theatrical adaptation "A Tale Of Two Cities" (Manet, dir. Makis Katsoulis), F.Durremantt’s "The Visit" (police officer, dir. Alexandros Cohen) and M.Gorki’s "Vassa Zheleznova" (Michael, dir. Alexandros Cohen). In W.Shakespeare’s classical play "Hamlet" he faced the chance of a double role (Laertes, Actor, dir. Kostas Arzoglou) and in the stage adaptation of "The Murderess", a classical social tale by A.Papadiamantis, he portrayed the great Greek novelist (Papadiamantis, dir. Despoina Giannatou). In Agrinio’s municipal theatre’s productions starred in S.Serefas’s "Mam" (Big Man, dir.Katia Zarkada) and codirected with Christos Karteris E. Albie's "Zoo Story" (Jerry/Peter) and portrayed both of the roles alternating them with his co-star.
His latest role in a TV show was at "Dikaiosi" (Nikos, dir. Dimitris Arvanitis, Mega) and his recent film work in leading roles are "Fabrika: The Factory" (Panagiotis, dir. Alexandros Sikalias), "The Bridge" (Chris, dir. Antony Schelts) currently shooting "Clive and Maude" (Clive, dir. Joe Walker).
